Simple Design is head quartered in Atlanta, GA and is a family owned and operated business. Our team has over 40 years of combined experience in the new construction field. We are capable of engineering, designing, and building a development as needed by our clients.
MEET OUR TEAM
Sohel "Shawn" Dhanani is the founder/president of Simple Design and has been in the construction field since 2008. He is a builder/developer as well as a NASCLA accredited General Contractor licensed in the state of Georgia.
Gaining experience and the love for the industry, he began working under two general contractors and founded Simple Design in 2017. He has been involved in multiple residential and commercial projects since then. These projects include multi-family development, single-family custom homes, and small commercial buildings.
Most recently, Shawn developed a 26-townhome community, a 10,000 sqft custom home, and multiple single family homes. Having building knowledge in different fields and price points gives him an edge to make sure a project runs smoothly, on time, and on budget.
Outside of work, Shawn likes spending time playing Flag football, golf, and traveling with his family. Shawn, his wife Kanwal, and two daughters (Maya and Nora) love spending time outdoors as much as possible.
Kanwal Dhanani is the Creative Director and head of architectural design at Simple Design. She leads a team of talented architects and design professionals from pre-construction to closing.
Working with Simple Design since 2018, Kanwal has great experience working with clients and meeting their design needs. With attention to detail and proper planning, she is able to achieve a design which is built on time, on budget, and absolutely stunning.
Outside of work, Kanwal likes reading books, cooking, and traveling with her family.
Vilai Pan is the Director of Administration at Simple Design. She works closely with the our executive team to align our day to day organizational goals.
Working with Simple Design since 2020, Vilai has became an integral part of our office and project management team. Detailed, hard working, focused, and dedicated are just a a few of her amazing qualities.
Outside of work, Vilai likes to spend time with her friends and spoiling her nephews and nieces.
Jose Stanfield is the Senior Project Manager at Simple Design. He leads a team of site supervisors and junior project managers to ensure an effective project construction.
Jose has been in the construction field for 7 years. Within this short period of time he has mastered the field of construction and has become a valued member of our Simple Design family. Jose is also a U.S. Army veteran and we are extremely proud and thankful for his service.
In his free time, Jose enjoys family activities with his wife and daughter, recording music, and fishing. He also has a deep passion for cars.
